Dark eldar army list

Hi guys! This article will help you to see how can you create a great army list, if you're playing D.E.

But first of all I also want to message me for any prblems you've got.

    sooo...

      DARK ELDAR ARMY LIST

You will need primary 2 troops and 1 hq
a good idea for your troops are wyches ,but if your playing objectives,
you will aso nned a 5-man k.warriors to hold an objective

Another idea if you are playing objectives is to have a hq who
makes elites counting as troops like sathonyx!

Then we have the elites: I always put harlequins and
trueborn as elites because harlequins are very good
in close combat (also against grey knight terminators !!!)
and trueborn excel at penetrating vehicles .

Troops are not dificult to choose because you have only 2 :
Warriors and wyches.  Isuggest using wyches in great numbers
(20 or more) but no more than 10 in a squad. But wou will need
 the warriors on holding objectives

Fast attack :  A good choice for fast attack are the squorges
because they can carry a lot of stuff : From shard carbines to dark lances!

You will also will need many raiders (3 or more) to carry your harlequines and wyches

Last but not least ar the heavy support option : I think that is simple matter to choose ravagers.
But If you want somethink new you can use some razorwing or voidraven bombers

If you want more informations about razorwing jetfighters see my blog !
               Voidraven informations coming soon :)

Hi guys !I  like  seeing that more and more players bring their armys fully painted. So I decided to find one guide that explain us how to paint dark eldar kabalite warriors  So here is it !

Step One - prime black.
Step Two - light drybrush of Hawk Turquoise. Make sure this is a light drybrush with a big brush (I used a Tank Brush), and just catch the sharp, raised edges.
Step Three - lighter drybrush of a Hawk Turquoise/Skull White mix (roughly 50/50). This should be lighter than the last drybrush.
Step Four - hit the highest highlights with a Hawk Turquoise/Skull White mix (roughly 25/75). Make sure these lines are very thin.
Step Five - wash the armor with Thraka Green. This will help blend your highlights and drybrushing. If you were over zealous with your drybrushing, then hit the armor with a few more layers of Thraka Green.

- highlight eyes with Sunburst Yellow.

- paint the metal with a 50/50 mix of Chaos Black/Boltgun Metal.
- highlight with Boltgun Metal.
- highlight with Mithril Silver

Black
- touch up all the black areas with Chaos Black.
- highlight with a 50/50 mix of Chaos Black/Dark Grey*.
- highlight with Dark Grey*.

* Dark Grey is from the Vallejo Model Color range.

TYRANIDS VS. CHAOS SPACE MARINES

This is one of my favorite battle reports.  You can fully understand what is going on in the battle report even if you don't hear the players beacause you can read the titles on the video screen while the video is playing

DARK ELDAR Razorwing Jetfighter

This is a tactic for the new dark eldar model : Razorwing Jetfighter:

General Information
- AV 10 all around
- 2 Dark Lances, 4 Monoscythe Missiles, Twin-Linked Splinter Rifle
- Turbo-boost of 36 inches
- Aerial Assault, meaning it can move at cruising speed and still shoot all of its weapons
- Costs 145 points for the basic set up, including missiles!

Weapon Upgrades
- Dark Lances can be exchanged for Disintegrators for free
- Splinter Rifle can be traded for a splinter cannon
- Any of the missiles can be upgraded to necrotoxin missiles

Uses

The Razorwing fighter can either be taken as a jack-of-all-trades, or a dedicated anti-infantry monster.

The Jack-Of-All Trades keeps the dark lances and keeps the monoscythe missiles. It can target either vehicles with its lances or infantry with its missiles. I’ve used this unit as a strong alpha strike, especially if you are playing against an infantry-heavy list. The first turn you fire 4 monoscythe missiles, decimate the strongest enemy infantry unit and then become a weaker ravager for the rest of the game. The reason I suggest firing all of the missiles early is because I’ve found that if you don’t use the missiles, your opponent will down the flimsy razorwing and you’ll be kicking yourself for wasting the points.
The other advantage to this unit is that it will work against whatever enemy you are up against. If you are playing a fully mech’ed army then the lances are golden. If you draw a horde opponent, then your missiles will put a very significant dent in their forces.

The anti-infantry monster switches the dark lances for disintegrators and the twin-linked splinter rifle for a splinter cannon. This gives it a total of 6 strength 5 Ap 2 shots and 6 poisoned 4+ Ap 5 shots. The only possible issue with this is that it allows for some sneaky wound allocation, but its still very effective. If you are going up against a fully meched up opponent, than you can either reserve the razorwing which I’ll discuss more below or you can hide it behind cover until your dark lances spill open some transports (And any Dark Eldar Archon worth his shadow field should have plenty of those)

Reserving

Although I don’t like the idea of missing a few turns of shooting, reserving the razor wing is a possibility. This is an especially useful idea if you know your enemy is turtled up in transports and you want to be able to use the missiles late in the game it is possible. The main problem with reserving the razorwing is that you aren’t able to modify your reserves as a Dark Eldar and you might lose far to many turns of shooting.

Look this old land raider near a new terminator .Isn't It strange ?
